If you, or someone you know, are experiencing problems related to the above issues and are seeking guidance and support, PAC is available to assist you. Along with other parent’s experiencing issues with their adult children, you will be able to share thoughts, ideas and prayer in a safe environment that may help you find answers that you seek. The group will be meeting twice a month at the church. For more information, contact Bob Hazlett (352-751-7089).

SMALL GROUPS STARTING IN JANUARY 2017

TUESDAYS – January 31, 2017 – April 25, 2017:

The Truth Project led by Cecile Glunt

Date & Time: Every Tuesday January 31, 2017 – April 25, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Location: Hope Room at North Lake

Have you struggled with "The Truth" and is truth the same for all of us wanting to be Christians in a contemporary world? If you have an interest in learning The Truth, this is the small group study for you!

The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 13 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. Each lesson also has a one-hour question and answer period to discuss what has been covered in the DVD. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.

This one project represents the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ; millions have been transformed by this curriculum. As it has been throughout history, God continues to call ordinary people to make an eternal difference in our world.

Ruth, one of the women, is 'new to the Christian thing' but encourages YoYo, another member who committed a crime and did her time' to go with her to the conference What causes these women to stay together through seven books? Do they need each other? Find out as we study the book together. The books, including the first one we will discuss, are now available for review in the NLPC library and in local libraries as e-books. Borrow, buy, or download the first book and join us on Thursday, January 19, at 1 p.m. as we read, discuss and learn from these women. Room for 12.

SMALL GROUP LEADERS NEEDED

As the NLPC congregation grows, the need for men and women group leaders increases. Small group leaders love God, have a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and have a basic love and affection for people. Leaders love the transforming truth of the Word of God and want to share that with others. If you feel you are being led to make a difference in someone’s life by helping to build authentic relationships, please contact Pastor Mike at 352-753-8484 or via email at mikes@northlakepc.org or his pastoral assistant, Linda Caporale, at 757-897-0064 or via email at lindacap@centurylink.net. Training and support are provided.
