Pathfinders: Trajectory
Led by Charles De Andrade
The book of Isaiah is one of the most well know Old Testament prophets. Much of Handel's Messiah comes from the prophecies found in Isaiah revelation he received. But Isaiah was also the prophet ministering to King Hezekiah. He was there when the troops of the King of Assyria, that had already conquered and deported much of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, was now threatening to do the same to the Southern Kingdom of Judah. But Isaiah brings a message of hope to King Hezekiah. And we will get to see KIng Hezekiah's relationship with Isaiah on full display, as well as the Lord's mercy as he grants the king 15 more years of life, and points to the coming Babylonian captivity. We will then return to 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles to finish the time after Hezekiah and Isaiah bringing us the the prophet Jeremiah who weeps over the coming dispersion.
