CONGREGATIONAL CARE

Congregational Care Ministries provides care, concern, prayer, and support for families and individuals at various stages, places, and circumstances of life. We desire to extend the love, hope, comfort, and compassion of Jesus Christ to those who are navigating a time of change, challenge, life crisis, or celebration.

Our Congregational Care Team is to ready to respond to the care and support needs of the congregation and to engage in the ongoing spiritual, physical, emotional, and relational expression of living faithfully within the Body of Christ.

We believe in the power of prayer and caring for our neighbor.

Whether you are experiencing a challenge or a celebration, we want to lift all things to the Lord and walk alongside you.

CARE MINISTRIES

  • We are blessed with a visitation team that include Pastors, Deacons and lay members of the church.

  • Our Deacon and visitation team provide Communion to those who are unable to attend in person. Please let us know if you would like to receive Communion at home.

  • We house a number of support groups and classes here throughout the year, such as Grief Share, Pastoral Care, and more. Please subscribe to our announcements and newsletter to find out up-to-date information.

    Grief Share
When we find ourselves dealing with grief, we are better together. This group offers support and encouragement for those who are mourning the death of a loved one. North Lake offers both Loss of a Spouse and Surviving the Holidays seminars, as well as a 13- week Grief Share support group.

    Pastoral Care
You can schedule a one-on- one meeting with one of our pastors, depending on availability and the issue that needs to be addressed, with referrals provided as necessary. Our pastors are also here to meet with you regarding funeral planning and for pre-marital counseling.

  • Our Deacons help assist in overseeing the care of our congregation, and in sharing God’s grace, mercy, and peace. Our Deacons are here to pray with you and walk alongside you in your joys and concerns.

  • Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.
